Re: Performace graphs not displayed after upgrade
This issue is happening to me as well. It started with an NagiosXI update I did back in May, but I just did the 2012R2.2 update and the performance graphing is still empty. I did a sub-component reinstall of PNP which did not fix it, but has fixed it in the past (because this has broken in the past,...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
I figured it out. Everything is working great now. The NSCA part was broken because the firewall on the opengear unit was block one direction of traffic and not logging that it was blocking the traffic. Everything is working great now. If anyone wants it, I can put together a setup procedure that wo...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
I figured out some of the import problem. The search field seems to see files on the filesystem that don't show up in the list below it. And sometimes it lets those files be imported (or so it says). This condition seemed to happen for me when there was a hyphen in the file name of the config file.

Re: OpenGear Console Server
I am still looking for the NSCA logging. I removed the opengear host from nagios (because I modified the config of the unit itself), then copied the nagios config from it as I have done before with the intent of doing the config import as I have done before. This time it had trouble finding the conf...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
At one point I did see an unconfigured object, but now I don't. I base this on my clearing the unconfigured objects list and running a dry contact test. I have the opengear sending NSCA and SNMPTRAP messages to the Nagios server. I am getting the SNMPTRAP messages. Is there a log for the NSCA traffi...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
nuts....I keep getting an NRPE error that the command is not defined. I know that NRPE is operational on the opengear. Does command name given to nrpe (with the -c argument) need to be defined on the host running the check_nrpe command? I thought it only had to be declared on the remote NRPE host. w...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
Given the following config, what is the expanded nrpe command for the check command for the host? I am at a lost as to what $ARG2$ would be. Correct me if am am wrong but the ARGn are the command arguments to be passed...and in this case, for the host check command for the host listed below (opengea...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
I agree, it will work with XI. We have the sensory stuff working. Opengear treats each EMD and port like a host on the nagios instance on the opengear unit. This can get a little confusing and is not for the novice. It also causes the config change a bit when EMDs are added to the opengear. A templa...

Re: OpenGear Console Server
We are in the process of deploying OpenGear ACM5508-2-M units and have found that some of the advanced features of the nagios integration (specifically SDT integration with Nagios) are no longer developed/maintained, although they say it works with Nagios Core v3. The documentation from OpenGear reg...

Re: service groups issue
This issue is resolved. I was able to remove the memberships...was looking in the wrong place somehow.
