Nagios instances
Hi, I learned previously that Nagios XI License is entitled to 3 installations (Prod, Test/Dev, DR) https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/nagios-xi-license-entitlements-145.html Is there a detailed documentation on the capabilities and function of DR and Test/Dev instances? On DR instance, is it des...

Nagios installation on restricted internet access
Hi, Is there a document on the list of all external web URLs that need to be accessed by Nagios XI server for successful installation and upgrade? I can not find it in system requirements or installation documents. Aside from CentOS Repositories, what other repositories and external URLs that need t...

Changing IP address of Nagios XI server
Hi,
I'm planning to move our Nagios server to a different subnet thus the need to change its IP address.
Are there additional steps that needs to be done on Nagios XI aside from changing IP on the OS level?
Will there be impact on the license/activation if I will change the IP?
Regards,
Bryan

Re: Different warning and critical parameters on a single co
Apologies I should have provided a more detailed scenario. Our team handles servers and we are divided into sub-teams. Each sub-team acts as the primary administrator of specific set of servers. But each member, regardless of sub-team he/she belongs to can act as the secondary administrator of the s...

Re: Different warning and critical parameters on a single co
Hi, Please correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding of escalation is that Nagios can send notification using different config (e.g. different recipient list, frequency, etc) if there is no action/acknowledgement or the state did not recover after X number of alerts. https://assets.nagios.com/dow...

Different warning and critical parameters on a single config
Hi, Is there a way to define a host or service check config but the warning and critical have different configuration? For example a ncpa service check for free disk space. Warning Threshold: 10GB Alert Frequency: Every 1 hour Check/Notification period: 8x5 Recipient: user1@example.com, user2@exampl...

Re: Showing Min value in Performance Graphs
Yes it would be great if the min value can be included.
There are certain NCPA checks that this will be useful such as "Free Memory", "Free Disk Space", etc. to easily see the lowest value and assess if additional resources are already required.

Re: Showing Min value in Performance Graphs
Hi,
The graph via "view performance graph" shows Last, Avg, Max values but on graph explorer these are not being shown.
I would also like to see the Min value if it is possible.
