Showing Min value in Performance Graphs

Post by bramon »

Hi,

Is there a way to include the Minimum value in the performance graphs? I can only see Last, Avg and Max.

I have service checks where the Min value would be useful such as "Free Memory", "Free Disk Space", etc.

For the default graphs, no.

But you can create custom graphs using the graph explorer.

I just tried the graph explorer and it is showing less info.

The Last, Avg and Max values are not being shown.

Hello @bramon,

The graph explorer should provide the same information. Can you provide a screenshot of graph and along with the Agent/Check command you are using? Also, what values are shown in the drop-down menu for Select Data Type?

Hi,

The graph via "view performance graph" shows Last, Avg, Max values but on graph explorer these are not being shown.

I would also like to see the Min value if it is possible.

I see, the setting for what is displayed in in
Admin -> System Settings -> Theme & Display -> Data Settings (Highcharts)

Currently there is not an option for a Min value.

If you like I could put in a feature request to see if it is possible to add this in the future.

Yes it would be great if the min value can be included.

There are certain NCPA checks that this will be useful such as "Free Memory", "Free Disk Space", etc. to easily see the lowest value and assess if additional resources are already required.
