NTP OK: Offset 0.003534734249 secs|offset=0.003535s;1.000000;2.000000;
I will check Nagios again to make sure problem still exists, although I have changed nothing.

Need to be able to run a custom syslog in Nagios XI to syslog on a remote server.
check is generating the following.
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 10.112.9.4 -c azure_syslog_check -t 240

This issue is resolved.
I had to add the contact group to each of the services for which it should receive alerts.
After testing, the contact group is now receiving alerts.
