Best approach to address Leap second on Open Systems

Need to know what is the approach for addressing leap second on Open Systems.
The latest Nagios Plugin was recommended as a fix, but due to the work involved, we are considering a Nagios suite upgrade instead.

What do you have available as a Nagios suite upgrade?

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @avandemore's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
