Re: Unable to delete indices
I looked through a bunch of the 'old' re-created indices and couldn't find a correlation between the hosts. I found some from some older hosts that need updating/patching and some new hosts that have been recently patched. So it looks like a VMware bug. I'll bring it up to them the next time I see o...

Re: Unable to delete indices
Why do you say that host is sending bad times? From what I see they're all 2017.08.15? I also checked the host and it is indeed synchonized with its configured NTP server and the time is accurate. Our hosts are joined to the domain. So if the time was off by more than 15 minutes, we'd be having Kerb...

Re: Unable to delete indices
From the 2017.08.15 log that shows 1 document in it. This was the output: This cluster logs only ESX hosts and all our hosts time are synchronized with NTP servers on UTC. { "took" : 31, "timed_out" : false, "_shards" : { "total" : 5, "successful" : ...

Re: Unable to delete indices
These indices seem to have anywhere from 1 to 10 documents in them. But when I use the dashboard and narrow down the time to that day, nothing shows up. and shows empty. I think these indices as some point had a regular amount of data in them, but now only show the handful of documents because of a ...

Re: Unable to delete indices
Also tried to delete with the -XDELETE. Same result in the logs. Shows it deleting and then getting re-created at the same size.

Re: Unable to delete indices
Yes, I'm using the Admin > System > Index Status to delete these indices. (or at least trying to delete) I deleted a bunch of indices from 2017 and had the tail command running on the nodes. Nodes 1,2,3,4,6 didn't show any changes. Node 5 showed this: [2018-04-18 15:01:28,277][INFO ][cluster.metadat...

Unable to delete indices
I'm unable to manually delete indices in NLS 2.0.2. It looks like it deletes and then some five minutes later, the index is back. I've tried re-deleting and then it just comes back. This also is not an isolated index that won't delete. There are some thirty of these that just won't go away. Same thi...

Re: Special Character or "-" on username for NLS 2.0
I was about to create a new thread, but my problem seems similar so I'll just add my $0.02. I have an NLS 2.0 cluster pointing to an LDAP server and have no problems importing users that are all regular characters or have a dash in the username. When it comes to logging in, the all regular username ...

Re: How to export query results to a text file?
Also would like this feature. We installed a PoC of NLS back in April and the lack of this feature was a show-stopper. Just checked again and downloaded a current version and was somewhat dismayed that it is still the same version. The product roadmap says NLS v2 is due Q4 of this year. Unfortunatel...
