I would assume something in the log stating error is an error, unless your vmware... I do not know if this is effecting nagios, we seem to have false-positives, errors in logs and not getting alerts via mail. So is this effecting Nagios? I am not seeing any errors with our server, so only nagios is ...

Just go into the profile i sent open nagios.txt and ctrl+f and type in https

We are still seeing them:

nagios: job 4771 (pid=24015): read() returned error 11
wproc: early_timeout=1; exited_ok=0; wait_status=0; error_code=62

We just switched back the switches and MS server. HTTPS check has never used tcping and we are still getting false-positive alerts for https. Both because check_tcping only works for 3 ports 80,22 and 23. The switches i do not know and have no way to get that info, as far as the MS I will have to lo...

And those other checks switched back are on ICMP again not tcping
