Re: Linux Host Monitoring
I installed mk_check and it works fine except for a few issues. 1) Hosts i add through it show up in the main UI but not in the core config 2) I deleted localhost from the original install and setup localhost with mk_check and it complains about duplicate even though it deleted, when I go into core ...

Cisco Switch
We added a cisco switch to test and instead of listing the interfaces with the correct names like gi0/1 , gi0/2 , it uses some wierd namses like port1234 port 3439.
Also it does not recognize 10Gbe ports. There is also no option for Juniper equipment.

Re: Windows Wizard
In order to get the wizard config to save, we had to go into core config edit the host and add ping to the check command.
This got it to show up in the monitoring but as you can see in the screenshots there is still isues.

Windows Wizard
When running the windows wizard as you get to last step you get an error when it tries to process the config I then have to go in to the core config, remove the services and remove the host in order for the config to save. Doing a bit of back and forth, i saw that some of the windows templates were ...

VMware installer only?
This seems kind of ridiculous, did I just spend 1k on software that will only run on a virtual machine? Where is the none virtual machine installer/package??
