Re: _grokparsefailure_sysloginput tag
Thanks for the quick response. I am actually using a DMZ relay Nagios Log Server to send all logs from DMZ clients to our local level NAgios Log Server. Could this setup be messing up the syslog format?

_grokparsefailure_sysloginput tag
Hello, I am trying to feed in a linux server from our DMZ to our local Nagios Log Server and after setting everything up with the Curl command I only get 1 log that shows up with the following message: "\xFF\xF4\xFF\xFD\u0006^]\r\n" in NLS. It has a _grokparsefailure_sysloginput tag attach...

Linux rsyslog connectivity issues
Hello,
I am trying to feed a group of linux servers into the Nagios Log Server and I'm having trouble doing so. I followed the directions for editing the rsyslog config file on the clients but I still can't see those server logs in NLS. Are there any extra steps that I'm missing here?

The idea is that we'll have one NLS living in our DMZ and collecting logs from all of our client DMZ servers, and it will forward those clients' logs down to our other Na...

Using one NLS to forward logs to another NLS
Is it possible to use an output rule to forward all logs from one Nagios Log Server instance to a second Nagios Log Server Instance? If so, how is this done?
