Yes, I meant store the logs in different partitions, as chosen by myself. eg Logs of Group A equipments in partition 1, logs of Group B equipments in partition 2....... Oh so its not possible? Alright. Thanks for your quick response.

Is it possible to achieve different log retention time on the same server. eg Server Group A logs should be kept for 7 years (legal Requirement) , Server Group B logs for 6 months and Server Group C for 2 months. All this on the same server (same instance).

I have three different groups of equiments eg Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3. Using ONLY ONE one instance and disk partitioning, I need to know how I can achieve/direct Group 1 logs to partion 1, Group 2 to partion 2 and Group 3 to partition 3. Thanks.
