Rasberri Pi + Nagios Core = < enter all endless possibilities and benefits here >
Is anyone working on a project involving Rasberri Pi and Nagios?
Here is an article that touched my heart, and thus Nagios was one of the first things that popped in my head:

Re: Rasberri Pi
Yeah, I know quite a few people have played with this for Nagios Core:

Re: Rasberri Pi
Ok instead of new topic I though I ask the question here; ok got it the Raspi would run Nagios way too slow; how about the more powerful competitors? Beaglebone Black?
BB aside I am sure you see where this is going: a non-PC platform to run a small Nagios out of a tiny form factor yet NOT pay some "appliance" vendor that would charge 20x what it costs to built same small form factor box?

Re: Rasberri Pi
You can have it running quite comfortably if you choose the right distribution, I used debian to run a Nagios server and clocked around 10,000 HTTP checks in a 15 minute period before I noticed a significant drop in performance. Obviously this is depending on the check type you're performing. Don't forget you can easily overclock an RPi. I was using a Model B RPi, I haven't tested this on a Model A.
