Where do I find the API key? I would like to try to intergrate this with NagiosXI 2014.

Click Administration -> User Management

Make sure you have a user with API access turned on.

Then, when logged in as that user, click the username in the upper right corner and you will see their API key

Just click the username in the top-right field and you will see the page with your per-user API key.
