Fusion lauchning incorrect data

Post by btemple »

Our fusion server show 3 hosts that are down. When I click on the number 3 the underlying server launches but it points to service status rather than host status ? Sorry but it seems my posted pictures are flip flopped

I was able to recreate this and filed an internal bug report (TASK ID 3062).

I've updated this, you can extract the contents of this zip into /usr/local/nagiosfusion/html/includes/dashlets/hostgroup unfortunately it won't upload using the internal dashlet management page because there seems to be a bug with it... which I've added a report for.

After further review on my respective nagios xi server on "Host Status Summary" if I click on the downed hosts it launches "Service Status" too. So this may not have anything to do with fusion ?

Yes, it seems like a XI bug, not a Fusion one. I made a note in my bug report about it.

@btemple - Is this XI server running a different version than the others?

Let me explain what the link is doing... in Fusion it is linking to the wrong link...

OLD ONE: status.php?show=hoststatus&hostgroup=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&hoststatustypes=4

NEW ONE: status.php?show=hosts&hostgroup=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&hoststatustypes=4

Checked the links in the Hostgroup summary in XI and they worked fine along with the Fusion dashlet links, they use the bottom of the two links... only Fusion used the old one. Now, it may have changed from really old versions of XI from the top one to the new one so make sure all your XI's are up to date.
