Re: Host upgrade
Yes, absolutely. We recommend installing a pretty minimal configuration, with none of the additional package groups selected.
Re: Host upgrade
Does nagiosxi support CentOS 6?
We have a third party (Retina) scanning our network for vulnerablilities and both PHP (v5.1.6) and apache (2.2.3) have failed with vulnerabilities. After doing long hours research, I think upgrading to CentOS 6 is easier for some one like me who's new to Linux rather done upgrading each software.
I actually upgraded PHP on our prod instance in the past and was not able to log into Nagios UI any longer after the upgrade, good thing I cloned the VM host because I was able to revert to the VM host before the upgrade.
Thanks.

Our next release will support CentOS 6, which should be released very soon. Within the next week it should be released.
