Hi Team,
We have recently configured Nagios and Nagvis to monitor our Network devices. Nagios is working fine but while accessing Negvis we are getting below error.
Invalid data in "/usr/local/nagvis/etc/profiles/admin.profile".
Can anyone of your help me resolve the same.
With Regards,
Rohit

Is that all it says? No line #'s? Can you post your (/usr/local/nagvis/etc/profiles/admin.profile) file here in an attachment?

Ah, I didn't know what type of file that was, I'll do some looking around, but I suggest you also go talk with the Nagvis team about this since we do not officially support it, it is a third party application:

Re: Error Accessing Nagvis
Hi,
I'm sorry to bring back an old post, but have you "solved" the issue ?
I've "the same problem" i.e. i've the error "Invalid data in "/usr/local/nagvis/etc/profiles/admin.profile"."
But i've looked into it, and i don't know why my file admin.profile is now empty !
Is there a way to have back the default file with the admin/admin credentials ?
PS : Tell me if you need more details, my email address or anything else.
Kind Regards,
Pierre

Pierre, if you are having an issue with nagios, we will do our best to help you solve the issue. Please, start a new thread and describe in details the problem that you are having.
As for NagVis - this is a 3rd party application. I would recommend that you ask your question on the NagVis support forum.
I am locking this thread as we haven't heard from the original poster for more than an year.
