Problem with templates

I am running XI 2011R1.3 on Centos 5.6 32bit.

I have changed both the host and service templates to modify check and notification intervals for both hosts and services. I cannot get the configuration wizards to use the settings, no matter which templates I modify. Is there some trick to this that I am missing?

The config wizards don't reference or use intervals, etc. that you define in templates. Thus, template mods won't affect the options that show up in the wizards. We'll get this (the ability to customize wizard value defaults) on a feature list for a future release.
