Yes. I just noticed it also but my version is still 2012R2.9CBoekhuis wrote:Hi,
After upgrade from 2012R7 to 2014R1.1 we have a "hourglass" on the bottom of the Nagios xi page when login with a non-admin account.
This happens with firefox 27.0.1 and witch IE8. It looks like an authorization issue.
Any Idea?

@ WillemDH
I tried opening new tabs from the "Views" tab, but was not able to recreate the issue.
@CBoekhuis
I can see the same issue in Nagios XI 2014R1.1, so I will be talking to our developers and filing an internal bug report.

No problem Ludmil, as I said I did see this issue a few times, but it's not annoying enough to make a new thread for it. Just wanted to confirm I saw similar behavious, also in Firefox.

rajasegar, we're going to drop this thread in the bug report and the dev's should look through it and take a look at your issue as well, however we are still unable to reproduce it on our systems which means there is not a whole lot we can do until we can. Do you remember your XI version upgrade path? From the first version you installed until now?

Fresh install 2012R2.9 - Prodslansing wrote:rajasegar, we're going to drop this thread in the bug report and the dev's should look through it and take a look at your issue as well, however we are still unable to reproduce it on our systems which means there is not a whole lot we can do until we can. Fresh install 2012R2.9 -> Upgrade to 2014R1.0 -> Upgrade to 2014R1.1 - Devt

@rajasegar - Does this only affect users, or dies it affect administrators as well?

It affects all users.scottwilkerson wrote:@rajasegar - Does this only affect users, or dies it affect administrators as well?
The strange thing is, if you drag the link to open a new tab (Using Firefox extension ie. QuickDrag), it does not come up with the hourglass.
If you do the standard <Ctrl + Click> to open in new tab this happens. So far it happens for all link, only for Nagios XI & Nagios Fusion.
All other websites and web based apps don't have this issue including Nagios Core.

@scottwilkerson By changing authority from user to admin the hourglass disappears. When switching back from admin to user the hourglass gets back.

The problem reported by you does not seem to have any impact to the web page being displayed.
