mod_gearman issue

We have installed mod_gearman server and local worker process but it has some problem starting, The nagios checks are not going through mod gearnan.

we have checked in the log and we saw the error Bailing out due to errors encountered while initializing the embedded Perl interpreter.

How to resolve the issue

What log are you referring to? Can you cut 20 lines on either end of that one and post them here in code wraps? What version of XI are you running, what what did you follow to install gearman?

If you are using XI 2014 you will need to follow the steps on the last post of page 2 here:

We are using the rpm's to install mod_gearman as there is no internet connectivity to our nagios server. and I have pasted the log file entries of mod_gearman_worker.conf

when I executed the command gearman_top didn't result check_results queue, and is there any additional config needs to be done in nagios.cfg file?

Did you follow the linked forum thread completely? The old mod_gearman does not work with core 4. You need to follow the steps in Sam's post on page 2: http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... =10#p97980
