Ever since upgrading I have not been able to apply my configuration. The error is advertised as being in my timeperiods.cfg file but I cannot see what the issue is. I have reviewed other similar posts but have not been able to find a solution to my problem.
The error is:
Warning: Duplicate definition found for timeperiod 'xi_timeperiod_24x7' (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/timeperiods.cfg', starting on line 226)
Error: Could not add object property in file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/timeperiods.cfg' on line 227.
Error processing object config files!
I have also attached a copy of my timeperiods.cfg file.
Thank you very much,
David S. Goldstein

Re: Cannot Apply Configuration After Upgrading To 2014R1.2
At some point you may have accidentally imported the static template objects into XI. The easiest solution is to disable the timeperiod 'xi_timeperiod_24x7' through the CCM as it most likely is also loading the timeperiod from the static xiobjects.cfg config.
Make sure to rerun the upgrade once the config errors have been resolved. Additionally, you may find the following FAQ entry to be of some limited use:
