Downgrade NDOUTILS

Post by ockmeyer »

I have installed NDOUTILS 2.0.0, but I want to downgrade to a previous version. Can someone give me the process?

Did you install from source or from a package manager?

I downloaded the source. Ran ./configure and make.

Is there a specific issue which is causing you to want to downgrade? If so, we'd like to hear about it as it may be a bug/something we can address easily or down the road. In either case, I believe you could just grab an older version and re-compile following the installation instructions:

I thought the version was buggy until I realized I had a permissions problem. Once that was fixed, ndoutils v 2.0.0 works just fine.

What I've realized since then, is that I don't need it at all to install NagVis 1.7.

So we can close this thread? Or did you have other issues with the permissions?
