nrpe or check_by_ssh

Post by BanditBBS »

Just a quick opinion...we have ssh enabled everywhere with ppk's in use. Any downside to using check_by_ssh for all my active checks instead of nrpe?

Mainly load and network utilization. SSH can be a bit heavy in both but honestly I don't think any modern system reasonably optimized will suffer.
