Is there a document for specific recurring downtimes setup?

Post by tecnalb »

Hello,

I was looking at the recurring downtime setup. I use it now, in a simple form, for a daily schedule. I was more curious about the "valid days of month" field, and what I can actually stick in there. I couldn't find any reference in admin guide or user guide. Maybe I overlooked.

I want to schedule downtime for some backups, that happen on a routine like: first tuesday of each month

I see this seems to be a common question and the functionality may not exist. Can you confirm?

Since XI relies on Core, the Core documentation might be the best place to start:

http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/ ... timeperiod

The time period definitions are quite robust.
