Network Switch/Router Wizard - Port with # in name

I was running the network switch/router wizard today.

I named three of the ports using the # symbol.

Everything applied OK and the services appeared OK. However whenever I click one of the services named with a # I get the error:
Not Authorized
You are not authorized to view the requested object, or the object does not exist
I tried testing this in CCM by creating a service with # in the name. It does not let me do this, it says the characters are illegal.

The Network Switch/Router wizard used is the one downloaded from the Nagios Exchange. Nagios XI 2011R1.3 VM running on ESXi 4.1 Update 1.

Yeah, I'm betting that there isn't a form validation that prevents NagiosQL's illegal characters for any of our wizards. Ugh. We should probably have some sort of a global check for some of those characters to prevent that from happening. Bug report filed:
