Issue after upgrading from 2012R2.9 to 2014R1.2

Hi, (Please read patiently)

Initially when i ran the upgrade script, it was unsuccessful (However the interface seems to be upgraded) because it was asking me to deactivate all the unused services ( it took a days time to deactivate one by one, thanks to the new mechanism implemented in this version ).

That being done, now, my nagios service is starting successfully and therefore based on the document (http://support.nagios.com/wiki/index.ph ... 14_Upgrade) I have tried re-running the upgrade script and each time i get the following error:

Read main config file okay...
Warning: Duplicate definition found for timeperiod 'xi_timeperiod_24x7' (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/timeperiods.cfg', starting on line 246)
Error: Could not add object property in file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/timeperiods.cfg' on line 249.
Error processing object config files!

***> One or more problems was encountered while processing the config files...

Once i get the above error I am renaming the description of "xi_timeperiod_24x7" to "xi_timeperiod_24x7_alias1" and then the nagios service starts. Now again after writing the config to physical files and successful verification, when i re-run the upgrade script i get the same error and it has become a loop.

Please help.

You will need to make those changes in the CCM, the flat config files will be over-written as part of the apply configuration process. I believe the better solution would be to find out why you are getting that error, can you attach your:
