Nagios XI 2014R1.3-REV2812

Post by snapon_admin »

Just out of curiosity, is there supposed to be a REV number in the version information for this update? It's no big deal really, I just noticed it since it's different. The topic subject is what I'm seeing on the bottom of my screen after updating to R1.3.

There should not be. Scott will look into and fix this. You may need to download a new tarball and rerun the upgrade once it is fixed.

K, no worries. This was in test anyway just figured I'd ask since it was out of the ordinary. Thanks!

It is at least the right rev. More info soon.

EDIT: Scott is making a new build. We have changed the build scripts so this will *never* happen again. (It was a race condition between our DEV revision building scripts and the release build scripts)

Literally, the only difference is the REV stamp. We will test the new tarball internally to see if just rerunning ./upgrade will fix the stamp. More soon!

Alright. All is well. New tarball on assets. Just re-download 2014r1.3 and re-run the ./upgrade. It should complete very quickly as literally nothing has changed other than 1 file.

Yep, that did it. One quick question though. I noticed the changelog mentions a new style for the host/service details page but I'm not seeing any difference. Just wondering if I'm just not seeing it or what.
