I added a new server just now, first one I added since updating nagios to 2014R1.2.

I ran the server monitoring wizard, selected drives C and E. Went into the services to check a couple of things and when I tried to save it, I got the "illegal character in description" error. The monitoring wizard is writing the service as C: E: etc. and the update doesn't like the :.

Manually deleting the colon fixes the problem, just thought I would pass that along.

Please update to 2014R1.3 as this resolves issues with the colon (:) as you have described.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
