You should use a redirect (perm) instead of a rewrite rule. Make sure that you follow our ssl doc exactly. Many people add a second use_https directive to config.inc.php instead of editing the one that already exists. If your issues continue, please send an email to [email protected] and we will move to a remote session.

Redirect permanent causes the process info to show no data at all and I get these messages in error_log

[Mon Jul 21 15:57:32 2014] [error] [client 10.3.2.243] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 1441 in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components/graphexplorer/templates/perfdata.inc.php on line 52, referer: https://nagios.ats.local/nagiosxi/inclu ... &dest=auto

using this rule:
Redirect permanent / https://nagios.ats.local

I will submit an email.
