I'm trying to figure out what's going on... I'm able to resolve names on the internet, ie www.google.com, so I know that DNS and external connectivity is working but I still get this error anytime Nagios tries to connect to the internet.
I'm going through a proxy and have it configured in settings. What am I missing?
Thanks
Mike

Are you trying do download a particular component? Where are you getting this error? Do you see the error when you go to Admin->Manage Components? Can you show us a screenshot?

I'm getting this error anytime I try to do a manual update ( click the update button ) on anything within Nagios.

Is there a list of all the websites Nagios uses to recieve updates? Maybe I can confirm that firewall is open.
