After prepping and importing my old Core files, I'm getting a bunch of errors as if it doesn't understand the time periods we had previously setup.
Error: notification_period 'Not0600-0800' for service 'OGPrd Check' on host 'aero' could not be found!
Error: Could not register service (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services/aero.cfg', starting on line 22)
Error: Failed to locate check_period 'DWSSWorkHours' for host 'uatdb1'!
Error: Could not register host (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts/uatdb1.cfg', starting on line 14)
I started just changing the period to predefined ones in XI, that were close but it's more than I realized.
I went into the checks and tried to edit them, activate them, make sure they had valid times, etc. That just gave me a different set of errors. Watched the video on making new services and plugins, but all I really need is a video on activating our time periods properly. My efforts failed.
Thanks

Re: check_period & notification_period errors
So when I put in the times and activate it, these errors happen.
Error: Could not parse timeperiod directive 'weekdays 08:00-17:00'!
Error: Invalid timeperiod object directive 'weekdays'.
Error: Could not add object property in file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/timeperiods.cfg' on line 55.

Re: check_period & notification_period errors
I guess my personal brain farts, I got it. I wasn't defining the time periods correctly.
