Not sure when this started but I cannot delete this host and there are no know dependency's.

That happened to me as well after an upgrade to 2014 r1.4, have you tried clearing your browser cache, and/or trying a different browser?

Dang it ! Used firefox and it deleted right away. I never try the easy stuff first , thanks !
