How to designate an icon image in a hostgroup definition

Post by rickwilson7425 »

Probably a dumb question but is there a way to designate an icon image in a hostgroup definition?

I don't think there is, but you can assign an icon to a host template. Assign the template to all hosts in the hostgroup? Or you could create one host with the icon and then clone it with the bulk host cloning wizard?

If you are trying to give an icon to many hosts, use WillemDH's suggestion. You cannot assign an icon to the hostgroup object itself.
