postgres High CPU - Nagios Freeze

Hi,

Anybody help me ?

Server 10 Cores - Xeon 2.2Ghz - 10GB RAM
Hosts : 2,465 Services: 12,500

The GUI when use the bulk import its very slow..and freeze all system.

HTOP:
postgres : nagiosxi nagiosxi [local] SELECT 53% CPU
postgres : nagiosxi nagiosxi [local] SELECT 22% CPU

Why postgres consume CPU ?

I see a lot of process..

The CPUs goes to 80% ...and the Web Interface go down....


Any idea ?
