Error applying time period configuration
Re: Error applying time period configuration
You can probably mv the one from static into /tmp for now and see if that clears it. Static config files can be tricky if you don't know they are there and try to remove something that relies on them.

Since that is in static, you should be good to remove that from the CCM without issue. Remove the entry from timeperiods, and attempt a write\verify again please.

Re: Error applying time period configuration
Yeah, like I said, I tried to delete it in the CCM but it has about 800 dependencies and throws an error. I assume I have to clean that up first. Got any ideas on how I can change that in mass? Remember I'm on 2012R1.2.

Re: Error applying time period configuration
I got it. I used vi to edit the /usr/local/nagios/etc/static/xiobjects.cfg file and removed the definition for xi_timeperiod_24x7. I then made my changes to the definition in CCM and applied the config without error. Looks good. Thanks you all for guiding me through the darkness.
