Hello,
I am in the process of evaluating Nagios Fusion. The plan is to use Fusion to connect to our client sites running Nagios Core. I have Fusion setup and testing a connection with one remote server and it works fine on port 443 for SSL. However, we have some security conscious clients that will allow outbound connections from their site but not inbound. Is there a way to initiate the connection from the Nagios Core server side to the Nagios Fusion server instead of the other way around?
Thanks for your assistance.

Re: Firewall and initiating connection from client
Unfortunately, not at this time, Fusion actively polls each system that it is fused to. I would be more than happy to put in a feature request for this though as I could see it being very useful, I'm not completely sure what the implications would be however.
Re: Firewall and initiating connection from client
Thank you for the reply. I think it would be a worth while feature to add if possible.

I understand. Currently, Fusion does GET with a ticket id to the XI servers' API. I don't think this behavior will change anytime soon. Apologies.
