Allow user write access to limited area

I'm interested in allowing a user access to add/modify permission but to a limited area. Is this possible? Similar to how a read-only user can see only a limited number of area, is it possible to have this user have write access to the same limited area but not able to modify all host/services?

Ultimately, I would like a subset of users managing their own host/services and they can only see what they create/add. If this is not possible, is there a plan to add this feature in the future?

Currently it is not possible to limit configuration access, they either have access, or they do not. I do know this has been brought up in the past and there is a feature request in for it right now.
