Monitoring linux host from windows using nagwin

Post by Gnanalingesh »

I have installed Nagwin in my local machine and i wish to monitor the oracle Weblogic server which is running on linux machine,
I have configured Nagios on my monitoring linux machine.I have followed the steps from the below link
http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/nrpe/NRPE.pdf

Without enabling the firewall will it be possible to monitor?

please kindly help me to resolve this and make a move to next step.

Well, NRPE is an active checking agent, so you nagios machine needs to have access to port 5666 on the remote weblogic server.
