Home Quick View should hv 2 boxes to QuickFind Host/Service

Dear Expert

In NagiosXi , Home, QuickView there is only one Quick Find field to search, as there two boxes in the CONFIG Services, I was expecting the same way, two TEXT boxes here in Quick Find, one for Host and another for Services, so I can search one/many services from one particular host. How I can accomplish this?

Example : Suppose DXB-Router-1 , Serial2/3/0 , how to search in single Quick Find. This moment first we have to select DXB-Router-1 and the search Serial2/3/0, its annoying.

It has always been this way, you can search for the host, then look at it's services, you can also search for a service name such as "Ping" and see a listing of all ping services you currently have active. This is how it works on XI 2014 r1.4, what version are you on?

If you see there is two search box in CONFIG , SERVICE............in QUICK VIEW should be same way, one search box for HOST and other search box for SERVICES

First, we are not adding any additional features to 2012. Second, search box locations have been changed in 2014. Do have comments about the 2014 changes?

Yes, in 2014, search box is at right top but still only single box.....its very annoying......should be two, one to search HOST , another should search SERVICE

Please any one tell NAGIOS design/developer team.........I don't know till date, how no one facing this serious issue.

'Serious Issue'? If you want to search for hosts, click on 'Host Detail' and search there. If you want all the services on one host, go to the host and click on the host services icon (the first one). It's only one or two extra clicks. The only thing I see missing is the ability to use regular expressions in the search boxes.

Thanks!jwelch , but my one PE having 10 link, each link having Status, Bandwidth, CRC errors, SLA (delay, jitter, PL) , so just imagin, difficult to pin-point. While try to search (CTRL+F), page got refreshed and again quickly need to search..........hope in next version NAGIOS will think to add another button and REGULAR EXPRESSION
