I am trying to upgrade my instance of Nagios XI 2014R1 to the 2014R1.5 version. No matter if I do the upgrade from the Admin|Check for Upgrades or manually download the update to /tmp, untar and upgrade the version still remains on the 2014R1 version.
How can I upgrade? I've tried this on two different XI instances and both give me the same result.

Re: Nagios XI 2014R1 upgrade
Do you receive an error in the ui when you try to run the upgrade from the admin page? If so, what is the error?

Re: Nagios XI 2014R1 upgrade
no error...that would make the problem easier to figure out. It shows everything is completed successfully in included attachment. I didn't see any update log but where could I find that to check for errors?

It should generate a log file:
Check it doesn't have any sensitive information and if not upload it here please.
Also, what is the version displayed here:
Code: Select all
/usr/local/nagiosxi/tmp/upgrade.logAlso, what is the version displayed here:

Well, the upgrade.log looks ok. Can we move this to a remote? (send an email to [email protected])

Re: Nagios XI 2014R1 upgrade
We resolved the problem in remote. Once you log out of XI and then log back in the new version was shown in the status bar below.
