Graphs missing & get rid of gagues

Post by brandon.pal »

Hey all,

I just upgraded our XI to newest version one of the main reasons was: "- Fixed perfdata graphs to show the proper amount of graphs per page -JO"

After the update what I'm seeing is still only a max of 9 graphs. Am I missing something?

Also has Nagios added a feature yet where I can turn of the gauges. It's really slowing down my page load and we don't need them.

Thanks,

Brandon

How many perf graphs do you have total for this particular host? Click on the host, go to the "Performance Graphs" tab, click on "More Performance Graphs" and show us the line that shows: "Showing x-x of x total records". How many graphs do you see on the page (with "10 Per Page" selected from the drop-down menu on the bottom of the page)?

Currently, it is not possible to hide the gauges but it is a good feature request idea. You are welcome to post a feature request on our public bug tracker here:

http://tracker.nagios.com/

of I can post an internal one for you if you want me to. Thanks!

Unfortunately I'm not seeing "more Performance graphs" or a drop down to select how many per page.

I just upgraded to 2014R1.5 and see the same behavior. One check graphs NetApp volume space usage and as the number of volumes grew it got to the point where XI stopped showing all the graphs. I went back after the upgrade to check and I see 32 graphs, 1 empty graph, and 13 gauges.
No indication of any paging or dropdown boxes for anything other than the timeframe.
I killed my browser and tried again in case it was a browser cache issue, but no joy. Then I restarted httpd...same result.
I see that string in status-object-detail.inc.php, but I get lost at xicore.inc.php trying to figure how it gets loaded.

Code: Select all

More Performance Graphs
  status-object-detail.inc.php
   status-utils.inc.php
    xicore.inc.php

We will need to do some digging into this and try to recreate the issue in house. I don't think it will happen sooner than next week as we are hosting the Nagios World Conference at the moment and we are not in the office.

I'm not sure if others are having the issue but since the upgrade many of the Nagios Icons are missing.

Most probably this is caused by permission issues, but just to rule the browser out as a cause - do you see the same issue in all browsers?
