As of this moment I don't believe we support that, but I would be very surprised if we stayed with CentOS 6 forever. We will of course need to do some more testing to make sure nothing breaks before officially supporting CentOS 7. You are more than welcome to install it and see how it goes, and if you run into any problems we would love to hear from you so we are aware of them and can act accordingly.

Tried to install Nagios Core 4 on CentOS 7 two weeks ago. It's possible to install Nagios Core 4, but some actions or buttons won't work, for example schedule immediate check, restart nagios services. As CentOS 7 uses systemd, several functions will have to be tested and updated..

Just to follow this up a bit. We do have systems testing both rhel and cent 7, however they will need further testing before made public. As for core, it should work just great with the possible exception of init scripts, as willem mentioned.

Looking to find out what the progression on this is intended to be, when are you looking to add this to the supported lines.

We are about to update our Legacy 2011 edition to the latest, depending on when this work is looking to be completed we'd be very interested on jumping to the RHEL7 line.

On this, we would be looking at implementing this with Oracle Enterprise Linux, which should be the same as CentOS, and wondering if there would be any additional issues with running this distribution and running into support problems.

Unfortunately, we cannot really offer a timeline for this right now. There are far too many unseen variables that may (or may not) come into play. Right now, only time can tell.
