I am trying to get LDAP working (or would like to get it working) for the Fusion interface itself and since it's passed to XI nodes via session to carry over to those nodes if the user has been added to those nodes. I see from looking through the boards here that this issue had come up in the past and was discussed in 2012 without much resolution other than "good idea, we'll discuss with the developers and see what they say". It seems the discussion either ended there or never happened and was never relayed back to the community. The Fusion LDAP auth component that I see out there is a third party component it looks like and it not very descriptive on it's setup or uses as our LDAP server uses a proxyagent account to scan the directory structure and it seems that this component only lets you use the cn=[Username] variable and complains if that's not there. Are there any plans to integrate LDAP authentication with XI and Fusion ? I find it hard to believe that other open source and paid applications can incorporate LDAP as a basic auth method for their apps and our company has paid for the product of XI and Fusion as we aren't even offered that option. Am I missing something ? Any help or pointers would be very helpful and appreciated.
Fusion LDAP working ?
Fusion LDAP working ?
Hello,
I am trying to get LDAP working (or would like to get it working) for the Fusion interface itself and since it's passed to XI nodes via session to carry over to those nodes if the user has been added to those nodes. Re: Fusion LDAP working ?
I agree that this is something that we can and likely should do, I do not believe that there is presently an option within fusion to integrate with AD or LDAP provided by us. I would like to make a note that this is something that we have only had requested maybe 2-3 times, and we try to prioritize by usefulness and number of requesters. I will check our internal feature tracker and see if this is still a request, if not I will create a request for you.

I'll vote for this.

Re: Fusion LDAP working ?
It's actually already on our radar. I'm going to lock this up for the moment.
