Hyperlinks in Notes component

Hello,

This shouldn't be a whole lot of work (I think) and it would enable us (and others) to integrate our existing documentation with Nagios XI.

It doesn't look like it. This is going to be tricky to implement (if even possible) as notes are stored in postgresql.
Our developers are going through a HUGE list of bug reports and feature requests. This is the reason why it is taking such a long time.

Instead of changing the Notes component, perhaps a completely new component could be created to provide that functionality.

It wouldn't take that long to knock up as it would be pretty simple. It's funny because if I remember correctly, the History tab I created was based off the Notes component.

Hmm imho the notes component would be ideal for this. A new component would mean a new tab and I have the feeling all these tabs are slowing down the gui. Or is this just me?

Yes you are right, every time a tab is added it will add a bit more loading time.
