Disable metrics from loading on page load?

Please advice what does this option do.
What is metrics referring to?

Main menu, halfway down there is a metrics menu selection. Go there and you'll see they auto load. Checking that disables the auto loading just liek the reports check box. However, there is a current bug that makes that checkbox not work. I'll link you to the fix if you want to resolve yourself before the next XI release

Trevor's fix will work for now. The next version of XI will include the fix in trunk.
