We are looking to migrate from Centos 5.4 32 bit to Oracle Linux 6.5 and also move up versions
Is there a recommended way to do this.
Can we simply take a backup, or an export and push this into the new install?
I'm presuming we will need to backup any extra commands and scripts we have built ourselves.
Should we move the operating system to the new version, put old version of Nagios XI then to an implace upgrade of Nagios?
Should we upgrade the Nagios, then export to new system.
Or should we go for it and do both at the same time.
We ideally need to retain historical performance data

Chris

It is not yet available to install on Oracle Linux, but it is definitely planned to be on the road map very soon.
