Fprobe on AIX

Post by KieranGirvan »

Hi,

I've successfully installed Nagios Network Analyzer on my CentOS VM and have successfully setup 2 sources, 1 of which is my NagiosXI server and the other a Graphite VM running on RedHat.

I'd like to also setup 2 of my application servers running on AIX - is it possible to install fprobe on AIX or is this out of scope?

Many thanks,

We don't really have a "scope" regarding what gets installed on other systems. You can certainly try to install fprobe on AIX and if it works then NNA can use it, but if you run into issues with the compilation then yes, there is a scope in what we can support. We'll do what we can, but there will come a point where it might be better to ask in an AIX-specific forum.
