NagiosXI with mklivestatus

Post by nmudie1978 »

Hi guys,

I have recently installed Nagios XI and now plan on integrating splunk using the following plugin (https://apps.splunk.com/app/352/#/documentation). For this I require MKLivestatus (status broker).

I have installed Nagios without any issues but when installing MKLivestatus (mk-livestatus-1.2.0p3) I recieve the following error in nagios.log

[1415873123] Error: Could not load module '/usr/local/lib/mk-livestatus/livestatus.o' -> /usr/local/lib/mk-livestatus/livestatus.o: undefined symbol: last_command_check
[1415873123] Error: Failed to load module '/usr/local/lib/mk-livestatus/livestatus.o'.
[1415873123] Error: Module loading failed. Aborting.
:roll:

Anybody any ideas? I presume I can still use MKLivestatus with NAGIOS xi and not have to stick to NDO.

Thanks,
Nick

What version of XI are you running? If it uses core 4, you need to build the newest version of mklivestatus:
