Good day
Prehistory:
Moved NagiosXI on a new virtual server. Version was the translation Nagios XI 2012R2.9. Then upgrade to the new server version Nagios XI 2014R2.0. Accidentally saw that no shows detailed information output "View service status details for this host" and "View Hostgroup Service Details".
To make it understood to add a picture in which the red box is checked then that is not shown. And what is the result after clicking on the "View service status details for this host", "View Hostgroup Service Details" on nagiose version of "Nagios XI 2012R2.9" and the new version nagiose "Nagios XI 2014R2.0".
PS
Checked on the old server to the version Nagios XI 2012R2.9 and the virtual version of the same Nagios XI 2012R2.9. Specially created virtual machine and install it nagios version Nagios XI 2012R2.9 and restored the database server on it. So - on the Nagios XI 2012R2.9 version is normally displayed on the old server and the new server. Once the servers in a virtual machine to version Nagios XI 2014R1.5 or Nagios XI 2014R2.0, a detailed derivation is lost.
The same situation with "View" - "Unhandled Problems" also displays the screen with "No matching services fund".
Help please set up a detailed view of hosts and services. If any of you need the data - all provided.
No shows "View service status details"

Re: No shows "View service status details"
Let's start from the top. So in order of how things happened your changes look like:
2012R2.9 -> new server
new server(POST xi transfer) -> 2014R2.0 upgrade
Is that correct and if so did you have hosts displaying proper just after moving to the new server? What are the steps you took when moving to the new server, and when upgrading to 2014?

Re: No shows "View service status details"
Yes, that's right, in that order and proshodyat transition to the new server. Adding that the old server was up and running on a version of 2012R2.9. Just a new server works with another IP address.
On versions nagiosxi 2012R2.9 detailed mapping works on the old server and the new, to upgrade to the 2014R2.0. Detailed display stops showing after updating nagios from version 2012R2.9 to version of 2014R2.0. I tested it on purpose, installed on a separate virtual machine nagiosxi version of 2012R2.9 and restoring the database back to the old server, which also runs nagios version of 2012R2.9.
The order my steps in the transition to the new server:
-
Old server (CentOS 6.4, NagiosXI 2012R2.9)
# /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/backup_xi.sh
# ls -al /store/backups/nagiosxi
# scp /store/backups/nagiosxi/1415783934.tar.gz [email protected]:
# scp /home/sysuser/soft/xi-2012r2.9.tar.gz [email protected]:
New server (CentOS 6.4)
# cp /home/sysuser/xi-2012r2.9.tar.gz /tmp
# cd /tmp
# tar -xzf xi-2012r2.9.tar.gz
# cd /tmp/nagiosxi
# ./fullinstall
# /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/restore_xi.sh /home/sysuser/1415783934.tar.gz
# shutdown -r now
Web interface:
Edit: Views - Service Detail/Hostgroup Overview - Edit View - Change IP address 10.10.1.112(old server IP) -> 10.10.0.112(new server IP)
-
http://10.10.0.112/nagiosxi/includes/co ... w=services
http://10.10.0.112/nagiosxi/includes/co ... e=overview
Checked at this stage, a detailed output of hosts and services running and displays data.
# cd /tmp
# rm -rf nagiosxi xi*.tar.gz
# wget http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... est.tar.gz
# tar xzf xi-latest.tar.gz
# cd /tmp/nagiosxi
# ./upgrade
# shutdown -r now
finish
After the upgrade is complete detailed output of hosts and services are no longer running and the data does not show.
