Hello,
I'm currently demoing Nagios XI and have successfully deployed some ESXI checks using the setup wizard. I noticed that none of the checks created any alert criteria for abnormal values. I've attempted to add those to the check as $ARG3$, The command completes the check successfully, but no alerts are generated when the value is clearly over the threshold. Screenshot attached of what I added, what am I doing wrong here?
Also, I am getting login notifcations in my vmware from the api for every check, is there a way to use a persistent connection, or to suppress these notifications to avoid log bloat?
thanks!

Re: VMWare Monitoring Wizard Alert Thresholds
I'll check how it is handling thresholds on one of my systems, but you do not show the name of the host/service in the top screenshot so we have no way of correlating that and your configuration data to verify that is indeed the correct service check for that host. You could alternatively use:

Re: VMWare Monitoring Wizard Alert Thresholds
this is a small test lab setup, so that is the only vm host and only memory check on the nagios machine.

The box293_check_vmware plugin that slangsing pointed you to has a wizard as well:
