Active Host Checks

Hi,

After the fresh installation of Nagios XI R1.5 in RHEL 5.5 System 32-bit which is behind proxy, the system components (Active Hosts Checks, Active Service Checks and Notifications Alerts) are in disabled state. It shows blue in colour next to System OK.

When it is checked under Admin->Monitoring Engine Status, Process state is in red color, even after start action it doesn't starts.

Tried restarting, db, nagios, httpd and reboot, still the same error. The screen shot is attached for reference.

Please help....

Hello Abhjit,

I'm also having the same problem, did you get reply for your issue ever, or how did get it working, please help..

We do not officially support Nagios XI when you install and use proxy software that restricts traffic to or from the Nagios XI server.
