I am talking about how each rrd file has a corresponding xml file. When PNP draws graphs it pulls data from the xml file.

/usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/<hostname>/<service_name>.rrd
/usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/<hostname>/<service_name>.xml
